Pliteq is proud to announce that we have partnered with FedDev Ontario in order to expand our 150,000 sq ft facility in a partnership that extends over the next two years. This allows us to create skilled jobs and adopt new manufacturing activities that will boost productivity. In our first year of operation we estimate the factory will use 30,000 tonnes of recycled tires (approximately two million tires) and expects to scale to over 60,000 tonnes annually by 2021. This translates to approximately four million tires per year that are being diverted from landfill.
